Conclusions from the meeting of the Security Council of the Republic of Macedonia held on May 10, 2015

On 10.05.2015, in the premises of the Office of the President, a meeting of the Security Council of the Republic of Macedonia was held.

According to Article 12 of the Rules of Procedure of the Security Council, this meeting was convened without prior submitting an invitation, draft agenda and materials for the session.

According to Article 15 of the Rules of Procedure of the Security Council, the leaders of the political parties were invited to participate at this Council's session who can contribute to a versatile and quality consideration of the issues to be discussed.

The session discussed the current security situation in Macedonia and the activities of the Ministry of Interior in Lipkovo - Kumanovo region.
The Council adopted conclusions.

The public may be informed about the following conclusions:

1. The Ministry of Interior is tasked to prepare written information on the security situation in the Republic of Macedonia and submit it to the Security Council

2. The Ministry of Interior shall continuously inform the public on the security developments in the Republic of Macedonia

3. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is tasked to prepare information to the international organizations and foreign countries on the current security situation and developments in Goshince on 21.04.2015 and in Kumanovo and Lipkovo on 09.05/10.05.2015

4. All competent institutions in the field of security and defense are tasked to take measures within their legal competences

5. Regional and international cooperation shall be intensified to combat and protect against terrorism in order to prevent in the future violent acts in the Republic of Macedonia.
