The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, attended today the celebration of the Christian holiday of Epiphany in Tetovo and Gostivar.

In Tetovo, President Ivanov attended the service in the "St. Cyril and Methodius" church, officiated by the Metropolitan of Tetovo and Gostivar, Josif, and the ceremony of laying the Holy Cross. Daniel Miloseski was the luckiest among the believers and caught the Holy Cross at the today's celebration of Epiphany and received filigree cross as a gift from President Ivanov.

In Gostivar, in the "Assumption of Virgin Marry" cathedral, the Macedonian President joined the procession heading to the bridge on the river Vardar, where the ceremony of laying the Holy Cross took place, the first in almost seven decades. The luckiest among the dozen believers who caught the Holy Cross, was Darko Lavdinov who received filigree cross as a gift from President Ivanov.
