The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, today in Doha, Qatar, held an informal meeting with the President of the Republic of Slovenia, Borut Pahor.

At the meeting, the two presidents discussed about the continuation of the regional cooperation and activities within the Brdo-Brioni process, the situation in the region, the European and Euro-Atlantic integrations of the region and the role of Slovenia in the process.

President Ivanov urged for a more dynamic involvement of Slovenia and to continue to provide support in accelerating the Euro-Atlantic processes, a key prerequisite for a lasting stability and prosperity of the region.

The two presidents assessed as excellent the bilateral relations and cooperation between Macedonia and Slovenia and agreed on a return official visit of President Ivanov to Slovenia this year.
