Dejanovik expressed his gratitude for the honor and attention given by the Macedonian President and shared his impressions and experiences of climbing the Himalayas, as one of the toughest mountains in the world, and the K2 peak, which has been conquered by only 300 climbers in the world. Our mountain climber stressed that the Republic of Macedonia offers beautiful scenery for development of mountaineering and alpinism and that it should be utilized to the maximum.
"It is important that we know our limits and, in accordance with them, set the objectives. I started with small mountains, and gradually, step by step, I reached the highest peaks. With the last achievement, I feel really fulfilled, and I plan new adventures for the next year," said the mountain climber Dejanovik.
Zdravko Dejanovik conquered Mount Everest in 2010 and last year he tried to conquer K2, but the weather conditions prevented him. This year's achievement was part of the international expedition consisted of the Iranian Reza Shah and Mingma Gyalje Sherpa .
