President Ivanov meets with participants of the School of Young Leaders

The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, last night in Ohrid welcomed the participants of the fifth School of Young Leaders, which, upon his initiative, is held from 19 to 28 August in Ohrid.
Wishing the young leaders welcome in Villa Biljana, President Ivanov stressed the need for our society to educate leaders in every field, able to offer solutions to the challenges of modern times.
"We need leaders in all areas, not just in politics. The new age brings new challenges. In this world that is rapidly changing, we need young people who will offer solutions to those challenges," President Ivanov said at the reception in Villa Biljana in Ohrid.
The young leaders presented draft-projects to President Ivanov with solutions to the challenges faced by the municipalities of Ohrid, Vevchani and Resen, which they heard at the meetings with representatives of the three local governments on Saturday.
The Fifth School of Young Leaders includes total of 40 young people with different educational and professional focus. The School participants had the opportunity to hear lectures of 20 renowned speakers from Macedonia, Europe, USA, Canada and China.
