The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, received today the Macedonian car racer, Igor Stefanovski - Idze, on the occasion of winning the title of European Hill Climb Champion in group N, thus meeting the criteria for a world ranking athlete.

President Ivanov congratulated the title won to Stefanovski and the members of his team, emphasizing the importance of teamwork as an essential prerequisite for great successes. - The highest results you continually achieve, you represent the Republic of Macedonia. You are a positive example and motivation for many young people who should learn from you about the sporting values. Such achievements in any field deserve huge attention and respect. I wish you many more such achievements which also contribute to the international recognition of the Republic of Macedonia, President Ivanov said at the meeting.

Igor Stefanovski - Idze thanked President Ivanov for the honor, sharing the impressions of the title won, as well as the challenges faced during the races. - I think it is pride of all athletes, and also our responsibility, to present Macedonia adequately in all fields we compete. It is a great satisfaction for us, but I believe that with such a good ranking we made the entire Macedonian public proud, said our best car racer.

Igor Stefanovski - Idze and his mechanic team made a historic breakthrough in the Macedonian car racing sport at the best known and most spectacular hill climb championship in Europe and the world, under the auspices of the International Automobile Federation (FIA). The best car racers from Europe and professional teams participated in this championship.
