The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, met today with representatives of the Macedonian Traditional Karate Federation on the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of the Macedonian Traditional Karate Federation.

President Ivanov at the meeting congratulated the great jubilee to the Macedonian karate players, wishing them to continue with new sporting successes and achievements and to represent laudably the Republic of Macedonia in the world. The representatives of the Macedonian Traditional Karate Federation led by Vencislav Nedev, President of the Macedonian Traditional Karate Federation thanked the Macedonian President for the reception and the great support he gives to the karate and other sports professionals. The first Karate club "Rabotnicki" and the first regular national championship were officially registered in 1969.
