President Ivanov visits Valandovo

The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, paid a working visit to Valandovo today, accompanied by the Director of the Turkish Agency for Coordination and Development, Mahmut Cevik.
In the native Valandovo, President Ivanov and his guest had meetings with the Mayor Nikolche Curlinovski, with representatives of the business sector of the municipality and teachers from the high school "Goce Delchev". The meetings focused on the cooperation and joint ventures with the Turkish business sector.
"All talks aimed at identifying the potentials of the municipality of Valandovo and the opportunities for exchange of experience, knowledge and finding partners for investment by the Turkish business sector. We talked about the cooperation areas of interest of the municipality of Valandovo, i.e. the specific municipality areas for cooperation. I hope that the visit would soon result in concrete actions and cooperation for the benefit of the citizens of Valandovo and its vicinity, President Ivanov said.
The Director of the Turkish Agency for Coordination and Development, Mahmut Cevik, expressed gratitude for the trust of President Ivanov and promised to organize soon meeting between businessmen of the two countries.
He announced the arrival of agriculture experts to Valandovo who will screen the ground for breeding industrial pomegranate and building plant for its processing, as well as support for the textile industry and agricultural classes in the Valandovo high school for implementation of projects.
As part of his visit to Valandovo, President Ivanov and his guest Cevik met with people living in Dedeli village.
