The President of the Republic of Macedonia, Dr. Gjorge Ivanov, today received, in a farewell meeting, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco, H.E. Mrs. Aziza Limame. President Ivanov expressed his gratitude for the ongoing contribution and efforts of Ambassador Limame for deepening and improvement of the relations between the two countries and expressed satisfaction with the principled approach of the Kingdom of Morocco in relation to the use of the constitutional name of the Republic of Macedonia. The meeting conformed that the bilateral relations between the Republic of Macedonia and the Kingdom of Morocco are developing in an upward trend, in the spirit of friendship and mutual cooperation and understanding, and emphasized the need for continuation of the successful political dialogue, through exchange visits. Both interlocutors expressed interest in promoting economic cooperation between the two countries, and stressed the need for enhancement of the legal framework and the bilateral relations in many areas. President Ivanov and the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco exchanged views and information on the latest developments in Mali, Syria and the Middle East.
