President Ivanov met Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu in Jerusalem

At the meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, President Ivanov explained Macedonias interest in joining the European Union and NATO, as a move that will help Macedonia give an added contribution to the stability and the dynamic development of the region and beyond, during the international peace missions where Macedonia is an active contributor. Prime Minister Netanyahu expressed serious interest in the deepening of cooperation, particularly in the economy. Ivanov and Netanyahu discussed the interest expressed by a number of Israeli companies in invesment opportunities in Macedonia, especially in the field of advanced technology. Prime Minister Netanyahu was also interested in the construction of the Holocaust Museum in Skopje and expressed his desire to be present at the opening of the Museum.
